e group Project Construction Update - Ponderosa Stables @ South Mountain
Update of the Ponderosa Stables project at South Mountain Park. The concrete hay bale amphitheater was installed this week. We collaborated with artist Kevin Berry to use his hay bale concept as an amphitheater for the project and proposed the staggered arrangement of the bales. Each bale weights over 1500 lbs and has 3 integral color blends. They were cast with a form mold created by Kevin and have the textures of the hay and binding twine imbedded. The completed design will have brown stabilized granite in the plaza and terraces, local boulders for bookends of the seating arcs, a custom raised planter in the plaza that uses a horse trough for a seat wall, and has a 54” boxed salvaged specimen Blue Palo Verde planted in the center of the trough.

e group specializing in repositioning of hotel and resort properties
e group has over 34 years of experience enhancing assets in a variety of markets, regional, national and international.
In most markets supply and demand fundamentals are out of sync for construction of new hospitality projects. New acquisitions are being repositioned to take advantage of current market strengths. Sense of arrival, curb appeal, new and enhanced site amenities allow product and brand differentiation among similar service sectors.
e group possesses the expertise to quickly analyze properties and initiate ideas either simple or extensive based on your project’s detailed needs.
Site assessment and idea generation can be performed on an hourly consulting basis. More extensive projects and budgets can be accommodated on a design-bid-build basis or a simplified speed to market design-build approach. Significant value is added through cost affective and meaningful enhancements to your asset.
Often our value added ideas pay for themselves in operational savings and/or increased A.D.R. Please call our office for more information @ 602-462-9000.
